So lovely to see Tilda Swinton on the Time 100 list. Look at that regal, statuesque woman! Such an intelligent talent, and such a great little piece about her written by Sally Potter.
There’s something just so, enigmatic about Tilda, I can’t help but be drawn to her. Sometime last year I was seeing The Kills play live in London, and Tilda was there. She was that same beauty, regally robed in all black, an androgynous queen amidst a crowd of hipsters.
Terrence Malick’s next film receives a title, rating & synopsis! It’s titled To the Wonder & rated R. Here’s the plot outline:
“It concerns a philanderer (Affleck) who, feeling at loose ends, travels to Paris, where he enters a hot-and-heavy affair with a European woman (Olga Kurylenko). Said Lothario returns home to Oklahoma, where he marries the European woman (in part for visa reasons). When the relationship flounders, he rekindles a romance with a hometown girl (McAdams) with whom he’s had a long history.”
WOW, so good to see Rachel McAdams doing this kind of thing!!! She’s so diverse!!! Never seen her in a role like this before, so interested to see how it turns out!!!

I’m also really excited to have the beautiful, talented Anna Paquin on the cover. Loved her in The Piano, loved her in Almost Famous. Love her in True Blood. I just love her, okay?
